Founded in May 2021, Far East Cable (Yibin) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (600869.SH), which is a holding subsidiary of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd., a top 500 enterprise in China. The company is located in Luolong Industrial Park, Nanxi Economic Development Zone, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. It plans to build 5 wire and cable production workshops. After completion, the annual output of insulated wires will reach 2.1 million km, and other types of smart cables will be 215,000 km. The construction period of the project is from February 2022 to March 2024 (excluding preliminary work). The total investment is estimated to be 3 billion yuan. The project is divided into two phases. The civil construction was started in April 2020, and the trial production is planned in December 2022. The second phase (smart low-voltage cable factory, intelligent high-voltage cable factory, and intelligent vehicle-mounted cable factory) is planned to start the civil construction in September 2022. After reaching production, the company's annual sales revenue is 36.2 billion yuan.
